This is a fantastic place! We arrived late in the afternoon, early for dinner. Decided to have drinks before dinner, switched to tea, and stayed for dinner. Everything was top quality and the flavors were interesting and amazing! The service at every level was absolutely top notch. Giannis, who seems to be one of the managers, was also extraordinary. For the afternoon tea there was a live singing, and needless to see the view was amazing! We will definitely be back.

Ting is located off of the 35th floor lobby of the Shangri-la hotel. We had all of our breakfasts here & it is well worth it. The restaurant is gorgeous & elegant. Each table has a little stool to place your purse. The place is huge making a L-shape with stunning views of the city. For breakfast they offer a menu or you can eat at their buffet. Opt for the buffet. Hands down the prettiest, freshest buffet I've experienced with so many choices of food. There's a meat, fish & cheese section. A variety of artisan breads, yogurt parfaits, plain yogurt, berry bowls, fruit salads. Scrambled eggs, english bacon, streaky bacon (american style), potatoes, pancakes. Fresh pressed apple juice, orange & a house mix which was a carrot, apple & ginger mix...I know I am missing something because there was so much to choose from. Everything I tried was amazing & I finished each breakfast with a stawberry, blackberry, raspberry & blueberry bowl. Service is discreet & efficient. Very much recommend this place for breakfast.

Went for the Festive Afternoon Tea! Service was great, we were late and they held our table for us! This is an aesthetic tea with a great view! The tea was so delicious, but the food was just okay. I would definitely go back just for the ambiance and service!

The breakfast buffet is amazing. Restaurant has amazing views as it is located on the 35 th floor of the shard building in London. We also stopped by there at night for some drinks. Great restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner. Will def be going there again if we stay at the Shangri-La Hotel

Ambiance - 100% a high end vibe, live jazz music, beautiful views, wonderful thought out decor Service - all staff was friendly, professional, and checked in on us regularly Food - I ordered the vegan high tea and I was happily surprised. It was flavorful, had great texture, and had different varieties of sandwiches! Many times vegan dishes are not thought out, are repetitive and bland. This was thoughtful, fun, and delicious. Bonus: dessert came with a bit of a show!

Afternoon Tea experience at Ting is definitely an experience to remember but too pricey for what we got although they have the most reasonable price of all tea experiences in London. The view though was spectacular. Booked through open table and requested for a window seating although not guaranteed but we're glad our request was honored. There are several afternoon tea experiences available but the base price was £75 per person. We opted to add cocktails to our booking. Included in the experience are as follows: Welcome Tea - your choice and they do have a lot. I chose the ZEST (lemon and ginger) hubby chose GREEN MINT, daughter chose MANGO Finger Sandwiches: Coronation Chicken - Sultana, Curry Mayo, Coriander Smoked Salmon & Cucumber - Dill Crème Fraîche, Lime Zest Reuben - Gherkin, Mustard, Rocket, Pastrami Truffle Egg & Cress - Truffle Mayo, Organic Eggs, Mustard Cress Savouries: Hibiscus Flower - Chicken Liver, Cheese Sablé, Hibiscus Powder (My fave) Rata Burger - Provençale Ratatouille, Green Pesto Scones - Plain & Raisin Scones Strawberry Jam & Clotted Cream Lemon & Olive Oil Plum cake (not so much a fan) Pastries: Exotic Bush - Vanilla Sablé, Pineapple Compote, Coconut Mousse Forest Log - Berriolette, Vanilla & Chocolate Flower Power Choux - Yoghurt Creméux, Peach Mousse The Green Shard (To Share) - Vanilla & Lemon We opted to add cocktails-mine and daughter's choice was the sweet and quaint while John and hubby chose the chinese whisper. The tea experience lasted 2 hours and we were not rushed. It's a better alternative than just climbing to the top of The Shard to get a glimpse of London from above since I have the ambience. All in all, I do recommend but lessen your expectations.

Tea at ting was definitely an experience. Fascinating views of London. The tea is 75 pounds per person but if you want champagne or a cocktail it is 20 pounds more. I feel like you're not only paying for the food but also the views and experience. When they take out the miniature shard... it's absolutely beautiful what they do with the table. Loved it. The service was OKAY. They weren't fast nor as attentive as I would have liked. Overall it was a nice experience. Great for dates or even groups.
